Reasons Why Genuine Leather Straps Feel Stiffer Initially

Previously, some customers who purchased from our storeWatchreported afterwards that the strap felt relatively stiff. Here, we would like to explain this to everyone. When worn in theearlystages, feeling slightly stiff is precisely proof of solid quality and superior craftsmanship. Insiders all know that this is precisely the difference between genuine leather straps and ordinary PU or faux leather straps. Genuine leather straps, due to their cowhide characteristics and special processing, will feel somewhat stiff during the first few days of wear, and may even feel a bit "abrasive to the hand", but after a few days of wear, they will exhibit their normal characteristics and fit snugly against the skin. On the other hand, PU straps feel soft right from the first day of wear, immediately fitting the wrist and body very closely, but we can responsibly tell you that such straps can only be worn for a few months at most—no more than 1 years—before the strap will crack, fray, and look quite unsightly by then. This principle is just like the leather shoes you purchase; shoes made of cowhide material might bite your feet at first, but the more you wear them, the softer and more comfortable they become.
