Originally, watch decoration was intended to ensure proper functionality, prevent premature corrosion of metal materials, and protect smooth or polished surfaces prone to nicks, scratches, or other external damage.

        Today, to continue this legacy, Breguet reinterprets traditional decorative crafts in the new Classique 7147 watch, particularly its historically significant art of dial engine-turning (guilloché). This exquisitely designed new watch features a fully engine-turned silvered gold dial, representing a masterpiece of guilloché craftsmanship. The main dial is decorated with a “ Clous de Paris ” pattern, while the retrograde small seconds at 5 o'clock is adorned with a wave pattern. Open-tipped Breguet hands in blued steel sweep gracefully around the Roman numeral hour circle, clearly indicating the hours and minutes. The Breguet secret signature is etched on either side of the 12 numeral, asserting the watch's authentic Breguet lineage.

        The Breguet Classique 7147 is available in 18K rose gold and white gold versions, housing an ultra-thin self-winding mechanical movement with an off-centred rotor. The case measures 40 mm in diameter, and the sapphire crystal caseback on the reverse reveals the intricate mechanical architecture of the timepiece, including the Breguet balance spring and silicon escapement.
