As a world-renowned watch brand, Omega has consistently been a major focus of attention for vast numbers of watch enthusiasts. Being able to own an Omega watch is the wish of all watch fans. However, its expensive price tag also makes quite a few friends shake their heads. Yet, buying Omega in South Korea is much cheaper.

How much cheaper is it to buy an Omega in South Korea?
Buying an Omega watch in South Korea is about one-third cheaper than in the mainland, which is roughly 7 percent off. If you join a South Korean tour group, the price is just a little over 3000, and you save enough on buying a luxury watch to cover it. Credit cards can definitely be used in duty-free shops, and individual brands will be discounted by as much as 6 tenths. The policy in South Korean duty-free shops is that discounts are offered directly to the limit right in the shop; tax refunds do not exist there, as tax refund policies only apply to European countries.

What to watch out for
The price of buying an Omega watch in South Korea is quite reasonable, especially when duty-free shops are running promotions. It is impossible to state the exact price, but the approximate discount equates to at least 6 to 7 percent off, sometimes even lower, depending on whether you encounter the relevant offers. As for the warranty, they all come with a global warranty. Remember to keep receipts and other documents, and it is best to retain all packaging, manuals, and other accessories. Even if the receipt is lost, warranty service can still be obtained with the packaging and instruction manual.
