2000年、シャネルのウォッチアーティスティックディレクターであるジャック・エリュがデザインしたj12の登場により、シャネルの時計は女性専用であるというイメージが覆されました。シャネルのj12は、男性・女性の双方に向けたスポーツウォッチとしてユニセックスなスタイルを踏襲しています。シャネルの時計はクラシックなデザインスタイルと最先端のセラミック技術の完璧な融合です。2005年、シャネルの「J12」コレクションから初のハイテクセラミック製トゥールビヨンウォッチが発表され、グランドコンプリケーション時計製造の分野への参入を果たしました。
