　　Watch Review: British polo players in India requested horologists to design a watch that could withstand the rigours of a polo match, and thus the Reverso collection was born. However, the story is not quite so straightforward. Launched in 1931, it was an Art Deco-style rectangular Reverso watch, though square models were also under consideration at the time. Because designers favoured the rectangular version, the square design blueprints were left archived and forgotten. In 2006, when watchmakers and designers were examining the old archives of the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture, this forgotten piece of history was brought back to light. The Reverso Squadra collection was thus born, standing alongside the already renowned rectangular models. This Reverso watch features a distinctive shutter design and remains a rare find.
