An Insight into the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Collection
Jaeger-LeCoultreThe Master Control watch collection was launched in 1992, and to mark 25 years since its debut, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents three new Master Control timepieces.
Vintage Design
This collection continues with classic design, featuring an automatic mechanical movement, with deep blue tones exuding a vintage charm. Against the ocean-blue dial, skeletonised baton hands, blued steel central seconds hands, complication displays, and minute tracks are clearly visible. All three newly designed, elegant watches are paired with deep blue alligator leather straps, showcasing refined masculine style.
All three models skillfully showcase the play of light and shadow, featuring polishedbezels and lugs, while the case is satin-brushed for a more refined and charming appearance. The outer rings of the dials feature a circular satin-brushed finish, contrasting with the opaline-appearance centre. The watches refract light from different angles, making the various display functions clearer and easier to read. The dials feature black hour markers, highlighting the sharp contrast in colour.
Jaeger-LeCoultreMaster Chronograph
This chronograph has a stylish design inspired by classic timepieces, featuring the characteristic lines of the Master Control collection. Its relaxed and elegant appearance will captivate watch enthusiasts who love classic chronograph complications while seeking a unique timepiece. The case band is fitted with two user-friendly pushers for effortless operation of the chronograph function, with the hour and minute sub-dials harmoniously distributed across the dial. The sub-dials adopt a striking blue, complementing the blued steel hands and the subtle tachymeter scale on the outer rim of the watch, a practical function that easily measures the speed of an object moving between two points. This automatic mechanical watch features a 40 mm diameter case, full of vitality and shining brightly on the wrist.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date
This watch exudes an irresistible charm with its minimalist and pure lines, and rounded shape that captures the essence of the Master Control collection. The dial features signature numerical hour markers at the 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions, while a date display window sits at 3 o'clock, a simple function that remains essential for a watch today. With a case diameter of 39 mm and housing an automatic mechanical movement, it offers a comfortable wearing experience. Its timeless exterior makes it suitable for daily wear or formal occasions. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the wearer can admire the Jaeger-LeCoultre 899/1 mechanical movement and its 22K gold oscillating weight.
Master watches from the past 25 years have all undergone rigorous 1000-hour testing
The Master Control collection is the first Jaeger-LeCoultre collection to be internally certified through the one thousand 1000 hour test (one thousand 1000 Hours Control), from which its name is derived. The watch must undergo a series of rigorous tests to ensure precision and reliability. Subsequently, this test was extended to all timepiece collections from the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture. During the six 6 week testing period, the watch is checked in six 6 different wearing positions. Every test, whether it concerns temperature changes, shocks, power reserve, or water resistance, is meticulous, ensuring that every watch satisfies its future owner.
