      This watch takes its name from the dial representing the Earth and the Moon. The dial is crafted from polished meteorite, cleverly echoing the astronomical theme. Cartier originally introduced the platinum and lapis lazuli model of this timepiece in 2014, and the Rotonde de Cartier “ Earth and Moon” Tourbillon Dual Time Zone Moon Phase watch boldly adopts a unique display method: on the one hand, the “Earth” dial displays the local time, along with a 24-hour disc showing the second time zone; on the other hand, the interaction between the “Moon” disc and the tourbillon provides the moon phase display function. Both independently present the complications carried by the watch.

       Cartier specially developed and designed an exceptional movement for this timepiece. The pusher located at the 2 o'clock position allows for easy adjustment of the second time zone. Pressing the pusher on the side of the case at the 4 o'clock position reveals a moon-mask disc that can partially conceal the tourbillon cage, forming a crescent shape just like a bright moon in the sky to display the moon phase.
