How to set the time and date on a Guess watch
Guess started originally from denim apparel and through continuous development, its products now include fashion, footwear, timepieces, fine accessories, handbags, eyewear, perfumes, luggage, and more. So how do you adjust the time and date on a Guess watch? Let us show you how!
To set and correct the time precisely, wait until the seconds hand reaches the 12 position and pull the crown out to position 3. The seconds hand will now stop. Turn the crown clockwise or anticlockwise to adjust the position of the hour and minute hands. Once the hands match a reference time source (such as television or radio), push the crown back to its original position (position 1).
Adjusting the calendar
Pull the crown out to position 2 and turn it clockwise to adjust the calendar date.
Adjusting a day-date watch
Pull the crown out to position 2, turn it anticlockwise to adjust the day of the week, and turn it clockwise to adjust the date.
Points to note
Do not adjust the watch's calendar, day of the week, or moon phase between 21:00PM and 3:00AM, as the calendar mechanism is actively operating during this period and gear engagement is lower. Frequent adjustments during this window can damage internal components. Day and date switching is generally divided into rapid and slow change types: the first type completes the switch within ±5 minutes, while the second type takes 3 hours to complete.
For watches with a screw-down crown, never forceit out. Please first unscrew the locked crown by turning it anticlockwise. After adjusting the time, turn the crown clockwise and push it in to lock it, preventing water ingress.
If you need to adjust the date on a watch with a calendar function, please first set the date to the day before your desired date. Then, turn the hour hand to adjust the date. The date will change when the hour hand passes midnight at 12 o'clock. This prevents confusion between AM and PM caused by adjusting the date directly.
