Global launch of the Equestrian collection, with new timepieces embodying an affinity for equestrian sports
During the event, Longines proudly launched the new Longines Equestrian collection watches, showcasing the elegant charm of the new timepieces to watch enthusiasts at the event and dinner. The shapes and materials of this collection draw inspiration from iconic elements of equestrian sports. Symbolic elements such as arched horseshoes, stirrups, and leather are cleverly integrated into the design. Through bold and innovative lines, the Equestrian collection seems to transform into gracefully stepping horses, dancing a wonderful waltz on the wearer's wrist.
Longines' connection with equestrian sports dates back to 1878, when the brand produced a milestone chronograph that would go down in history. This stopwatch was engraved with a jockey and his mount, and was already popular among jockeys and racing enthusiasts at the racecourse in 1881. Today, Longines has become the official partner of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities and the International Federation for Equestrian Sports, widely participating in equestrian events such as flat racing, show jumping, and endurance competitions.
