Rolex and the European Tour Renew Longstanding Partnership

　　Dubai, UAE, 2013 11 13 – Rolex and the European Tour have officially announced the extension of their long-term partnership for another decade. Since 1997, Rolex has served as Official Partner and Official Timekeeper of the European Tour, thereby encouraging the development, organisation and promotion of global golf events.

　　This extension helps to cement Rolex's position as the most prominent sponsor of golf. Running for another ten years until 2022, the partnership includes Rolex's association with The Ryder Cup. The extended partnership will deepen the longstanding ties between world-leading watch brand Rolex and the European Tour, reinforcing Rolex's status as The Ryder Cup's longest-standing partner.

　　The announcement was made today in Dubai at the DP World Tour Championship, the season-ending tournament of the 2013 European Tour season. As the climax of the season, the event has attracted many of the world's top players to compete for a total prize fund of 800 US dollars.
