Introduction:RolexThese have always been the dream watches for watch enthusiasts, and the brand is highly renowned. So, which one is actually better? Today, we will make a detailed comparison between 116610LN and 116710LN, which are also two models that receive a great deal of attention.RolexWe hope this watch review will assist you in making your purchase.

Both watches feature a 40 mm case diameter, but clear differences can be seen in their appearance. The 116610LN uses a 60-minute graduated bezel that can only rotate counter-clockwise. The 116710LN features a 24-hour bezel, which is a bidirectional rotating bezel; to display the third time zone accurately, it has only 24 positions for rotation and can only click from one position to the next without stopping midway. The 116710LN dial also features a green 24-hour hand, designed to display a second time zone. Attentive observers will notice that the middle section of the hour hand on the Submariner series is slightly thinner than that of its minute hand, whereas the middle sections of the hour and minute hands on the GMT-Master II are of equal thickness.

The bracelets of both watches are crafted from solid 904L stainless steel. The 116610LN is equipped with the Rolex Glidelock clasp, allowing divers to adjust the bracelet even when wearing a thick 3 mm diving suit for a more comfortable fit. This unique design allows the wearer to extend the bracelet by approximately 20 mm in 2 mm increments without using any tools. The 116710LN features the Easylink comfort extension link patented by Rolex, which allows the bracelet to be extended by 5 mm with a simple fold for a more comfortable wear.

In terms of functionality, we can also see that the 116610LN only features a date display, while the 116710LN features a dual time zone display in addition to the date. However, the 116600LN has a quickset date function, whereas the 116710LN does not. The water resistance of the 116610LN is 300 metres, and it features a 60-minute graduated bezel for countdown timing. Meanwhile, the water resistance of the 116710LN is only 100 metres.

The 116610LN uses the Rolex Calibre 3135, while the 116710LN uses the Rolex Calibre 3186. The Calibre 3135 is an upgrade of the modern Rolex base Calibre 3130. The 3186 is based on the Calibre 3135 with an added GMT display function. The Calibre 3135 is a single-date 31-jewel movement, while the 3186 is a single-date movement with GMT. Both movements feature the Rolex blue Parachrom hairspring, offering excellent anti-magnetic performance.
