Why shouldn't you take the bus wearing an Omega

There are actually many examples like this. Prominent figures in Chinese e-commerce, such as Jack Ma and Robin Li, generally wear Japanese watches costing under one thousand yuan. This seemingly discordant phenomenon is actually very logical, as everyone has their own traits. We can probably accept a billionaire wearing a cheap watch, but if someone is wearing an Omega worth tens of thousands on a bus, do you think that is appropriate? A large proportion of people online feel it is inappropriate, and have listed the following reasons:
1. Luxury watches and public buses actually diminish the taste of both the watch and the wearer.
2. A watch is one of the few accessories that can showcase taste, status, and wealth. However, it should complement other items of a matching tier; simply put, the rest of your belongings must match the calibre of that watch for it to be considered good taste.
3. Wearing a watch that is too expensive in an inappropriate setting can easily lead people to assume it is fake.
4. A suitable watch will only enhance your appearance when paired with the wearer's current and appropriate status.
Of course, this is just the opinion of some. What is your answer? Fellow watch enthusiasts are welcome to join in a lively discussion.
