Omega Seamaster Series: Classic, Popular, and Most Practical

As early as the 30s of the 19th century, Omega began to research its own style of waterproof watches. By 1948, Omega launched the famous Seamaster— collection. The launch of this series can be said to have been quite well-adapted to the social environment of the time; the Second World War had just ended, and there was a huge demand for practical watches, especially diving watches. We know that from the 40s to the 70s of the 20th century, diving became a global craze, and during that period, many brands launched their own diving watches; for example, in the 60s, IWC also launched its flagship diving watch, the Ocean series.
Many enthusiasts like to compare the Omega Seamaster with the Rolex Submariner. In fact, as early as 1955, Omega had already launched the Seamaster 300 diving watch. Although the actual water resistance of the Seamaster 300m was 200 metres, it was already a commendable achievement compared to the 100-metre water resistance of the contemporary Rolex Submariner. The Seamaster 300 features very distinct characteristics: massive luminescent hands and indices that provide a strong contrast against the black dial, and a unidirectional rotating bezel for tracking dive time. In many respects, the Seamaster possesses its own unique features and advantages, so it certainly holds its own when compared to the Submariner.
Regarding the Seamaster emblem, I suspect many watch enthusiasts may not know its origin: it is inspired by the ancient Roman sea god Neptune, who drove a chariot pulled by seahorses. This is the origin of the pattern found on the back of the Seamaster collection.
Since 1993, the Seamaster series has undergone many improvements, including the addition of a helium escape valve and a water resistance depth of 300 metres. It is particularly worth mentioning that the new ambassador 007 appeared in 1995, and the image of James Bond has been deeply imprinted in the hearts of watch fans, making the Seamaster series increasingly classic. The 007 spy films are deeply rooted in people's hearts, and no matter who plays 007, we can never forget the classic Seamaster on James Bond's wrist. Although some people wonder why Bond does not wear a better watch, that is what makes a classic; once defined, you will find that nothing else can replace its position, and the same is true for watches.
Now the brand newReplica Omega Seamaster watchhas basically been updated with the new 8500 series co-axial movement. A special feature is that the Ploprof 1200 is equipped with 8500, allowing the hour hand to be adjusted independently for easy time zone changes, which is significantly more mature than the previous 2500 movement. The Seamaster always holds a prominent place in the field of diving watches.
