How to adjust the time and date on a Longines watch?
Longines watches come in a wide variety of models, so some users may encounter issues during daily use. Adjusting the time and date on a Longines watch is one such issue! Let me explain how to do it.
Longines quartz watch
For watches without a date display, pull out the crown when the second hand reaches the 12 o'clock position and rotate it clockwise to adjust the time. If there is no second hand, for the sake of accuracy, you can set the minute hand two minutes ahead of the desired time, then push the crown back in once the time is set.
For watches with a date display, pull the crown out slightly to adjust the day by rotating it clockwise and the date by rotating it counter-clockwise. Pull the crown out to the furthest position to adjust the time; the operation is the same as for watches without a date display.
For watches with complex functions, please contact the retailer directly.
Precautions before adjustment
1、Before adjusting the time, please note: if your watch features a screw-down crown, do not pull it out forcefully. First, unscrew the crown by turning it anti-clockwise. After adjusting the time, push the crown in while turning it clockwise to lock it and prevent water ingress.
2、Secondly, note that the danger zone for a mechanical movement is in the evening between 21:00 and 4:00; avoid adjusting the day and date during this period, otherwise the movement may be damaged.
3、Please do not adjust the time anti-clockwise between 21:00-3:00, because during this time frame the day and date wheels are changing over, and prolonged reverse adjustment will damage internal components. At other times, you can freely adjust clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Pulling the crown out to the first click adjusts the day and date, and pulling it out to the second click adjusts the time.
First, when 24, if the hands are in the second half of the dial and the time is between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock in the evening, do not adjust the date, as this may damage the date driving wheels. First set the time outside of 10 to 2 o'clock in the evening. Then pull the crown out one click to adjust the date; for example, if today is the 26, you should set the date to the 25. Next, pull it out another click and adjust the hands so that the date jumps to the 26. Then adjust to the correct time. (If it is morning, turn the hour hand less than one full revolution; if it is afternoon, you need to turn it more than 1 revolutions, letting the hour hand pass the 24 o'clock mark.) You must ensure that the 24 o'clock matches the actual time.
