What are the warranty conditions for Omega watches?
For a luxury watch you have purchased, if it is not handled with care, it will need to be sent back to the place of purchase for repair and maintenance. However, the warranty also requires the buyer to comply with certain conditions; let us take a look below.
Omega Watch Warranty Conditions
1. For any repairs or replacements carried out at an authorised Omega repair facility, the replaced parts shall remain the property of the authorised unit.
2. Any product failure caused by opening or modifying the product at a repair centre not authorised by Omega is excluded from this warranty.
3. In accordance with the product use and maintenance instructions included in the Omega watch packaging, the warranty period does not cover normal wear and tear or impact damage to the strap or exterior of the watch.
4. Exposing an Omega watch to extremely high or low temperatures, failing to lock the crown, and other such conditions can easily lead to moisture seeping into the watch or even liquid ingress. Improper operation is not covered under the Omega watch warranty.
5. Please keep your Omega watch purchase receipt, Omega watch warranty card, and other documents in a safe place. Do not open the case or battery cover yourself to ensure you receive efficient and flawless after-sales service. If the maintenance certificate is smeared or altered, the company reserves the right to refuse warranty service.
Introduction to the Omega brand
Omega is an internationally renowned watchmaking enterprise and brand, with the English name Omega and the symbol "Ω". Founded by Louis Brandt in 1848, Omega represents brilliant achievements in watchmaking history, standing peerless and exceptionally exquisite. With its advanced watchmaking technology, Omega has been a pioneer in the watchmaking industry for a century and a half.
"Ω" is the 24 and final letter of the Greek alphabet. It symbolizes the beginning and the ultimate, the first and the last, similar to the cycle in Asian philosophy where "the end means the beginning, and the close is also the start." It represents the extraordinary qualities of "perfection, excellence, and achievement," interpreting Omega's business philosophy of pursuing "superior quality" and its spirit of "honouring tradition while daring to innovate."
