A wonderful story taking place amidst time

　　This feeling is like a small sapling finally growing strong enough to leave the protection of the greenhouse and experience the vast and magnificent world on its own.

　　Six months ago, Mum and Dad gave it to me as an eighteenth birthday present. Mum said that with the college entrance exams coming up, it was a tough but unforgettable time, and afterwards it would help me remember what I went through. Dad said that now I was a young man, he hoped for nothing else except that, like the watch, I would always remain simple and true.

　　When a watch sits in a shop window, it is no different from any other watch. Once it is worn on my wrist and becomes part of my life, it becomes the only watch in the world. Aside from telling the time accurately, it witnesses every little detail in life. Time is not beautiful; the stories that happen within time are what make it beautiful. It is not precious in itself, but because it carries the love of my parents and my youth, it has become my irreplaceable favourite.
