Do You Know the Taste of an Apple?

In the book "The Geniuses on the Left, The Madmen on the Right", there is a chapter titled “The Taste of an Apple”. It tells the story of someone curious about Bodhidharma's wall-gazing meditation, who decides to experience a similar “retreat”. After each “retreat” concludes, he eats an apple to satisfy tastebuds starved by days of living on plain bread and water during the “retreat”.

He said that only at that moment could he taste the true flavour of the apple, experiencing the blissful sensation of every cell bursting in his mouth.

Perhaps a different fruit would have had the same effect, but because of a casual choice back then, every taste of an apple brought a whole new dimension of feeling. It was just like when I originally chosereplica Jaeger-LeCoultre watches.

At first glance, it might not have seemed striking or extraordinary; among a dizzying array of timepieces, it appeared quite ordinary. Yet at that time, I felt disheartened by work and life, believing everyone must eventually succumb to reality, leaving ideals as mere fairy tales in one's heart.

They say that growing up brings complexity, that maturity is learning to compromise, and that sharp edges will ultimately be smoothed over by reality. However, I wanted to stay true and pure. That was my conviction.

Indeed, my frustration stemmed from a reluctance to give up my true nature. I was still young and had time to strive for the future I wanted. Once I realised this, I gradually calmed down, gathered my thoughts, mapped out what I wanted to achieve over the next six months, and decided to buy this watch as a memento when those goals were met.

Now, it has been by my side through countless seasons like a dependable old friend. Though silent, it understands my inner thoughts. To others, it is simply a clean, refinedReplica watches; to me, it is a reward earned through determination after emerging from confusion and doubt. Only I know the story behind every detail. That is why it is priceless to me, and why I treasure it so deeply.
