        The Globemaster was a key watch highlighted by Omega at Baselworld in 2015, and this year, this much-talked-about Master Chronometer watch returns in triumph with a striking new version.

        The Omega Globemaster Annual Calendar incorporates several new design elements, such as the case diameter being enlarged from 39mm to 41mm.

        The arched "pie-pan dial" is originally a renowned and elegant design in the watchmaking world, and the new model further turns it into a functional and practical element, displaying the months of the annual calendar upon it. All month lettering is distributed between the blue hour markers in an elegant shape, accompanied by a special blue-lacquered hand to indicate the month.

        The blued triangular faceted polished hour and minute hands, as well as the hour markers, have all been treated with luminescence. As the light changes, the entire dial exhibits a captivating shimmer.

        Other blue details include the polished central sweep seconds hand, the Omega brand logo, the Constellation star symbol, and the lettering on the dial. The watch is specially fitted with a blue leather strap and a stainless steel deployant clasp, creating a cohesive colour scheme.

        The case is cast entirely from steel; much like last year's popular model, the polished fluted bezel is also made from scratch-resistant hard metal (— tungsten carbide).

        Last year's Omega Globemaster was the world's first watch to receive Master Chronometer certification, making it truly unique. Now presenting a new innovation, the new model is equipped with the new Omega 8922 Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement and comes with a Master Chronometer certificate, proving that the watch has passed the eight rigorous tests of the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
