     Luxury watch brand Panerai updated its flagship Luminor collection at this year's Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva. With its extremely low production volume, it has become one of the most sought-after vintage Panerai watches. The new limited-edition watch is fitted with the classic Luminor 1950 case and also features a brown dial along with the signature crown-protection bridge. The case is crafted from AISI 316L polished stainless steel in the classic 47 mm diameter, and its sharp-edged contours evoke the silhouette of the very first Radiomir watch case.

     The watch is fitted with a brown dial, radiating a distinct and unique style. The hue takes inspiration from the fading effect on dials caused by luminescence, showcasing the aesthetic of vintage watches. Furthermore, to protect the dial and echo the traditional use of polymethyl methacrylate crystal in vintage watches, the brand uses Plexiglas® resin glass instead of sapphire crystal for the crystal. The hands also draw inspiration from vintage watches of that era, and the "OP" engraving between the lugs faithfully mirrors the design of the historic model.

      Inside the watch ticks the Panerai in-house P.3000 manual-winding mechanical movement. P.3000 upholding Panerai movements' consistent traits of precision and durability, it is equipped with two spring barrels, providing a 3-day power reserve. The movement is protected by four brushed bridges, one of which features a double-support device to secure the balance wheel, ensuring the balance wheel maintains a frequency of 3 hertz (21,600 vibrations per hour). Moreover, the time-setting device of the P.3000 movement allows the hour hand to be adjusted independently forwards or backwards in one-hour increments without affecting the operation of the minute hand.
