What is the difference between Omega mechanical and quartz watches?
Omega is an internationally renowned watchmaking enterprise and brand. Founded by Louis Brandt in 1848, Omega marks a glorious achievement in the history of watchmaking, standing proudly among its peers and being quite exquisite. With its advanced watchmaking technology, Omega has been a pioneer in the watchmaking industry for one hundred and fifty years. In China, Omega watches are very popular among watch enthusiasts. Omega's products range from quartz watches to mechanical watches, so what is the difference between Omega mechanical watches and quartz watches?

Simply put, the advantages of quartz watches are relative accuracy (with an annual error of within ten seconds), smaller possible size and thickness enabling stylish designs, and a lower price point, making them well-suited for fashion-conscious young people. The disadvantage is the need for regular battery replacements (every six months to a year or two).
Mechanical watches invariably have some degree of error (ranging from a few seconds to twenty or thirty seconds per day), are relatively larger and thicker, and require regular winding (though better watches worn daily can also maintain a power reserve). They are also relatively more expensive (with most of the world's renowned luxury watches being mechanical) and are better suited for nostalgic individuals.
As a high-end watch brand, Omega's mechanical watches hold greater value. If you are looking to purchase, we still recommend Omega mechanical watches!
