　　1 When a quartz watch stops, the battery should be replaced as soon as possible. If it is not going to be used for a long time, you should have a watchmaker remove the battery and store it in a dry place to prevent electrolyte leakage from corroding the watch movement.

　　2 The storage location for watches should avoid the use of mothballs and insect repellents, as their continuous chemical emissions can break down the watch lubricants and easily cause malfunctions.

　　3 Before storing a watch, dirt and sweat should be wiped away with a soft microfibre cloth.
