First encounter with a mechanical watch, Omega Seamaster300
They say the poor play with cars, the rich play with watches, and geeks play with computers. I used to wear a Casio digital watch; although inexpensive, it had quite a few functions and was rather practical, and I knew nothing about quartz or mechanical watches. It wasn't until I changed jobs a while ago and saw my new colleagues all wearing mechanical watches that I realised I really needed to change to a proper mechanical watch. Moreover, my budget wasn't high; I had always liked Mido's Multifort collection, but after visiting a physical store to see it once, I felt I couldn't pull it off when wearing it. Afterwards, I looked at many others one after another until I found the Seamaster 300, and I realised I actually liked this type of watch, and it was a diver's watch too. I didn't understand things like 8500 and 2500, I just felt this one suited me, and after negotiating a good price with customer service, I decided to purchase it.
On the first day the parcel arrived, my hanging heart was finally put at ease, haha. The rest is just admiring the beauty of the Seamaster!
