Deep love always finds a way, remembering my first Explorer

Summer is too hot, and unfortunately all the watches I wear on my wrist are leather strap watches, which are unbearably stuffy and sweaty. Thinking about a budget of three thousand, I considered getting a replica Rolex. I also thought about Blancpain and IWC, but they didn't have nice steel bracelet models, and I don't like rubber or fabric straps, plus they seem a bit delicate—not as rugged and durable as a Rolex. After looking at the black and white steel Daytonas, Submariners, GMTs, Datejusts, etc., and going through quite a bit of psychological struggle, hesitation, and trade-offs, I finally decided on the new Explorer.
