An unmissable watch, AP 15707CE Royal Oak Offshore Ceramic!

　　Recently, I bought this Audemars Piguet AP 15707CE on the 5N website, and today I will share it with everyone!

　　Due to its high recognition and stylish appearance, the Royal Oak Offshore is a very important product line for Audemars Piguet, and AP works very hard on changes in materials and dials to meet the needs of different consumers. The ROO Diver has a total of three commercially available models (non-limited editions), including 15703 stainless steel, 15706 forged carbon, and 15707 ceramic.

　　Weight: stainless steel > ceramic > forged carbon

　　Scratch-resistant: ceramic > forged carbon > stainless steel

　　Finishing: ceramic = stainless steel > forged carbon (due to material properties, forged carbon Offshore cases do not feature brushed or polished finishes)

　　This 15707CE remains extremely scarce at present. It is said that up to now (2014 Feb) fewer than 400 pieces have been produced, allegedly because achieving the same brushed and polished finish on an extremely hard (6X) ceramic case as on a stainless steel one takes several times longer. Due to this rarity, it remains a boutique-exclusive model with no discounts available. If you happen to come across one and like it, just buy it and stop comparing prices.

　　Aside from the case, the crown and chronograph pushers are also made of ceramic. The clasp, case back, and rubber strap joints are titanium. Looking closely at the finishing on the case, it is truly exquisite. High polish, brushing, bevels, meticulous in every detail. The Mega Tapisserie patterned dial is matte black rather than the glossy finish of 15706; this is likely designed to create a contrast between the dial and the case (the ceramic case is far more striking than forged carbon). 42mm wide, 13.9mm thick.

　　Open case back, allowing a clear view of the 3120 movement. Much like my white-dial RO 15300, two watches with the same movement, yet the overall feel " is " quite different.

　　After wearing it for a month, there are no signs of wear. Moreover, it wears rather discreetly, which I suspect is mainly due to the black case.
