Little boy wears paper watch and buys luxury watch 35 years later in highly inspiring IWC watch advertisement

Great things are achieved through dreams; this sentiment has inspired many, and a recentIWC watchadvertisement also takes this as its starting point, telling the story of a young boy looking into a watch shop window who, having no money, can only wear a paper watch, and 35 years later, he successfully acquires the luxury watch he has longed for.

The advertisement opens with a young boy in a denim shirt stopping his bicycle in front of a watch shop, his eyes sparkling as he looks at the luxury watches. Lacking funds, he has to make do with wearing a "paper watch". 35 years pass, and dressed in a well-fitted, tailored suit, he returns to the window, looking at the watch with a joyful smile before walking into the shop, purchasing the timepiece, and leaving with it strapped to his wrist.

The advertisement, lasting less than 1 minutes, is adapted from the personal story of Humberto Tan, an IWC brand ambassador and Dutch presenter. By staying true to his dreams and working tirelessly towards his goal, he finally brought the luxury watch home, reflecting IWC's recent brand ethos of "engineered for men" while encouraging everyone not to forget their core essence in the pursuit of excellence.
