Routine Maintenance for Mechanical Watches to Extend Lifespan
Although mechanical watches do not have batteries, performing some simple and straightforward mechanical watch maintenance is still very necessary, as this is extremely helpful for extending the watch lifespan and keeping the movement in good condition. If worn every day, the best maintenance method is to wind the mainspring every two weeks to ensure its gears run smoothly and normally. Gently rotate the crown until you feel a slight resistance. If the watch is not worn daily, you should still ensure it is wound at least once every two weeks to ensure continuous operation, which guarantees the internal mechanical mechanism runs normally and accurately.
