Due to the special nature of watch electronic components, industrial 99% anhydrous alcohol (absolute ethanol) or trichloroethylene is generally used for cleaning. During cleaning, it can be placed in a container, but the time does not need to be too long. Gently clean it clean with a cleaning brush, take it out, blow dry or bake dry with an air blower, and then clean it thoroughly with a silk cloth or long- bristled tool.

　　2. Gently clean the coil holder with a softer brush. Precautions for cleaning the quartz watch coil holder: Because the outer layer of the quartz watch coil wire has no protection, it must not be cleaned inside a container, and generally the coil should not be held by hand. The correct method is to hold the two magnetic conductive ends of the coil holder with your hand and gently clean it clean with a softer brush (be careful not to break the lead-out wire of the coil at the lead-out board soldering point). Do not use petrol to clean the quartz watch coil lead-out board.

　　3. Wipe the motor with an eraser or willow wood stick. Precautions that should be taken when cleaning the watch motor: The magnetic steel and copper sleeve of the quartz watch motor rotor are fitted together by metal glue bonding, so they cannot be cleaned with cleaning fluid. Generally, an eraser or willow wood stick can be used to wipe them, and then they can be finished with a brush.

　　Precautions for cleaning quartz watches

　　1. When cleaning the circuit board of a quartz watch, due to the special nature of electronic watch components, industrial 99% anhydrous alcohol (anhydrous ethanol) or trichloroethylene is generally used. It can be placed in a container during cleaning, but not for too long. Gently clean it with a cleaning brush, remove it, blow dry with an air blower or dry it, and then clean it with silk cloth or pegwood. Never misuse cleaning fluids when cleaning, otherwise it will affect the quality of the quartz watch components.

　　2. The fit between the magnetic steel of the quartz watch motor rotor and the brass bush is bonded with metal glue, so it cannot be cleaned with cleaning fluid. Generally, it can be wiped with Rodico or a willow stick, and then cleaned with a brush.

　　3. Do not remove the quartz watch motor stator from the mainplate during cleaning, because the fit between the motor stator and the positioning hole of the mainplate is generally very tight and must not be loose. Removing the stator can easily damage it, and any bending or bumping will affect the magnetic permeability of the quartz watch. When cleaning, it can be cleaned together with the mainplate. Petrol can be used as the cleaning fluid, but never use ultrasonic cleaning, as this cleaning method will also affect the magnetic permeability of the stator.
