New Hublot Big Bang Ferrari watch released
A top-tier Swiss watch brandHUBLOThas always been known for its unique designs. Since becoming a global strategic partner of Ferrari, the world-renowned racing and sports car manufacturer, in 2011, the two parties have jointly created several limited-edition watches with outstanding designs. Each new watch embodies the brand's relentless pursuit of innovation, excellent quality, and extraordinary performance, which is the essence of the comprehensive cooperation between these two legendary brands. In 2016, the two sides reignited their creative passion, drawing inspiration from the technological innovation and classic design of new Ferrari sports cars to release the Big Bang Ferrari watch with a brand-new silhouette, proudly becoming a new member of the Big Bang Unico watch family.

An excellent fusion of two worlds
With its perfect silhouette and golden proportions, the new Big Bang Ferrari watch combines Hublot's pioneering philosophy with Ferrari's excellent design, integrating powerful performance with stylish details.

Dial
Following classic Ferrari elements, the minute counter is positioned at 3 o'clock, with a design reminiscent of a sports car rev counter. The strikingly coloured yellow date window mimics a Ferrari speedometer, serving as a focal point. The legendary Ferrari prancing horse emblem is finely engraved at 6 o'clock, whilst the extractor fan-shaped seconds display sits at 9 o'clock. The hour and minute hands have been redesigned for enhanced legibility. Originally arranged horizontally, the numerals and hour markers are now vertically aligned, creating the illusion of floating above the dial and giving the entire watch a more 3D three-dimensional effect.

Case
The redesigned bezel perfectly embeds the signature 6 H-shaped screws into the countersunk recesses, achieving a delicate balance between technological innovation, refined lines and robust performance. The new case design is more ergonomic, not only better protecting the screws but also creating a strong mechanical aesthetic within a compact space.

Side profile
Viewed from the crown side, a fine red line gleams along the side of the case, mirroring the alluring lines of the rear of the Ferrari LaFerrari. The elongated push-pieces on either side of the crown are mounted on pivoting levers, identical in design to a sports car's pedals. The crown, engraved with the 'H' logo, features a more integrated and ergonomic protection device, bringing to mind the TPE (Turbo Performance Engineer) right in the centre of a Ferrari racing dashboard. Inspired by the stylish flair of Ferrari racing cars, the Ferrari logo is visible in bright, vivid red on the opposite side of the classic 'sandwich construction' case.

Movement
The Big Bang Ferrari is powered by the Hublot in-house UNICO flyback chronograph movement, with the column wheel positioned on the dial side. The oscillating weight echoes the design of a Ferrari star-shaped wheel hub. Meanwhile, the mainplate, bridges and oscillating weight all feature a black PVD coating, clearly visible through the dial and the sapphire crystal case back.

Limited Edition
The Big Bang Ferrari measures 45 mm in diameter and is available in three materials: titanium (limited to 1000 pieces), King Gold (limited to 500 pieces) and unidirectional carbon fibre (limited to 500 pieces). Wearers can also choose between two straps: Alcantara lined with black natural rubber featuring red stitching styled after Ferrari interiors, and black Schedoni leather inspired by Ferrari upholstery.

UNICO Movement
Designed, developed, manufactured and assembled by Hublot's micro-mechanics, engineers and watchmakers. The practical flyback chronograph function can be reset to zero at any time and is complemented by a dual-button mechanism, date display, a unique positioning mechanism with a dual horizontal clutch visible on the dial, and the renowned 'column wheel', making it truly unique in watchmaking. The watch's chronograph mechanism is driven directly by the barrel; the elimination of positioning levers within the chronograph internal construction greatly enhances the reliability and stability of the timepiece. At the same time, the escapement fork and escape wheel are fixed upon a removable platform, whilst the lightweight properties of silicon further elevate its performance. The movement comprises a total of 330 components, beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), and offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
