The intricate pattern in the centre of the dial is inspired by the embroidered cushions upon which emperors of old would place their insignia. The shape of the lugs follows the tradition of ancient columns, known for their perfectly balanced proportions. The curved design of the hands is reminiscent of the tapered daggers used by emperors in combat. This new model features a noble royal purple, echoing the lotus-shaped cabochon amethyst set into the crown of the Imperiale watch. The stainless steel case is equipped with a polished or diamond-set bezel and paired with a purple alligator strap, giving the new timepiece a powerful, modern feel.
