How to spot high-grade replica Longines watches

    Distinguishing authentic Longines watches from fakes is actually straightforward if you focus on the details. Taking the Longines Master Collection as an example, here are several key points:

    1. Look at the centre rivet connecting the hands to the dial. On a genuine watch, it is a distinct, prominent white rivet; on replicas, it is usually just a blue-dyed hole.

    2. Examine the hands. The blue tone on genuine Master Collection hands is rich, rounded, uniform and lustrous, whereas the blue on replica hands is painted on, appearing uneven and dull.

    The 2 points above can weed out 95% of replica Longines Master Collection watches. Sometimes inspecting the movement alone is inconclusive, but scrutinising the details of the hands immediately reveals a fake.
