How to identify authentic Rossini watches
Rossini is a well-known domestic watch brand and one of the top ten in China. It enjoys a high reputation domestically for its stylish design, excellent quality, and superior performance. However, some replica Rossini watches have entered the market. How can we distinguish the authentic ones?

1. Check the winding mechanism
A normal watch should wind smoothly. When turning the crown, it should feel loose at first and gradually become tighter until it cannot be turned further, indicating it is fully wound and ready to function. If you hear abnormal noises while winding, it indicates a fault within the movement.
2. Check the logo
Authentic Rossini watches feature a high-precision laser-engraved logo that is clear and finely crafted. In contrast, replicas are low-quality and often lack the logo entirely.
3. Inspect the exterior components
The exterior should be inspected by looking at the case, crystal, dial, and hands. The case should be intact, free of scratches, and have symmetrical edges. The case back should fit securely with the case without looseness. The distance between the lugs should be even, and the spring bar holes should be centred in the lugs at an appropriate depth to ensure the strap or bracelet remains secure.
4. Check the time-setting mechanism
Setting the time should be smooth, reliable, and the hands should move evenly. During inspection, focus on the friction between the minute wheel and the centre wheel axis. If there is no feeling of excessive looseness or tightness, the friction and lubrication are normal. Otherwise, there is a fault in the mechanism.
