TAG Heuer 1/100 Second Chronograph, A Competitor of Time
The Calibre 360 chronograph has been on the market for 5 years, and nowTAG Heuerintends to strike again. The high-frequency dual-component mechanical movement, as the latest design feature, is absolutely a tribute to the 1916 edition TAG Heuer Mikrograph stopwatch. For over 50 years, the TAG Heuer Mikrograph stopwatch has maintained a timing design of 25 and 50 Hz frequencies.
TAG HeuerCARRERAThe MIKROGRAPH 1/100 second chronograph uses dual movement components, 62 jewels, and 396 parts, representing another marvel of 'Swiss Haute Horlogerie' and setting a new milestone for complicated watches.
Like the Calibre 360, the TAG Heuer CARRERA MIKROGRAPH 1/100 second chronograph features two balance wheels, independent escapements, and transmission systems, ensuring stopwatch performance without affecting the movement's operation.

Unlike the modular Calibre 360, however, the new Mikrograph 1/100-second chronograph is officially certified by the COSC and features a fully integrated column-wheel system. This chronograph incorporates a 4 Hz balance wheel, oscillating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 42-hour power reserve, alongside a high-frequency stopwatch balance wheel (50 Hz) oscillating at 360,000 vibrations per hour with a 90-minute power reserve, displaying 1/100-second intervals via the central hand. The sapphire crystal case back provides a direct view of the two "hearts" with contrasting oscillation speeds, positioned opposite each other at the base of the complex movement decorated with Côtes de Genève.
TAG Heuer's chronograph heritage is unrivalled. A matter of milliseconds can propel TAG Heuer back to the summit, closely linked as it is with speed-focused athletes.

In 1916, TAG Heuer introduced the first Mikrograph sports stopwatch with an accuracy of 1/50 and 1/100 of a second, whereas other instruments of the time only achieved a maximum accuracy of 1/5 of a second. This technical innovation enhanced timing precision and transformed the future of event management. For professional competitors striving for excellence, the battle of milliseconds determines success or failure. This pioneering core technology has naturally established TAG Heuer as the pioneer and official timekeeper for the world's most prestigious events.
Limited to just 150 rose gold pieces, the TAG Heuer Carrera Mikrograph 1/100-second chronograph brings stopwatch innovation to modern racing enthusiasts who demand ultimate precision. Hitherto, wristwatches and stopwatches have been two distinct timing instruments with different purposes: a wristwatch can be likened to a marathon runner, maintaining a steady pace with enduring stamina, whereas a stopwatch is akin to a sprinter, delivering rapid bursts of explosive acceleration. If both were to share the same gear train, a traditional chronograph movement would quickly wear out.

TAG Heuer proudly presents the limited edition Carrera Mikrograph 1/100-second chronograph as a tribute to celebrate 150 years of mastering speed.
TAG Heuer has consistently dedicated itself to the high-end watchmaking sector, presenting watch enthusiasts with one exceptional timepiece after another, and the TAG Heuer 1/100-second chronograph is set to become another competitor in time.
