Since the establishment of this department in 2010, it has injected infinite vitality into the Hublot manufacture.

　　To welcome the 2011 Baselworld, Hublot pioneered a minute repeater wristwatch featuring two "cathedral" gongs. This is a fusion ofTourbillonand a column-wheel chronograph in a grand complication watch, with the case and movement mainplate made entirely of carbon fibre. This watch is a perfect interpretation of the "fusion" between great watchmaking tradition and future technology.

　　ThiswatchThe mechanical structure is intricately complex, employing three major high watchmaking complications, and has been well received by industry experts and collectors. It also embodies an absolute modern spirit, primarily expressed through the fact that all three complications can be viewed entirely from the dial side.

　　Aside from carbon fibre, the stylish nature of the case is further enhanced by materials such as titanium and natural rubber, perfectly interpreting Hublot's key concept of the "Art of Fusion".

　　From a design perspective, the minute repeater mechanism is cleverly integrated into the middle of the King Power case, and likewise, the chronograph control push-piece is cleverly incorporated into the crown. The minute repeater is controlled by a lever device located between 8 and 10 o'clock, acoustically sounding the hours, quarters and minutes. The two cathedral gongs—one for the hours and one for the minutes—are twice the length of standard gongs. The overall design aim is to create a sleek and simple aesthetic for a timepiece of this calibre.

　　The manually wound mechanical movement boasts an impressive 5-day power reserve. The hour and minute hands remain positioned centrally to meet traditional reading requirements. Spinning rapidly within a suspended cage, the tourbillon is located at 6 o'clock, demonstrating an exceptional structure of the highest quality. Indeed, the suspended cage operates without ball bearings and houses a Swiss lever escapement.
