Maintenance methods for replica watch movements
A watch relies on the movement operating in order to tell the time; if there is a problem with the watch movement, the watch will experience faults such as stopping or timekeeping errors. Usually, problems with a watch movement are caused by wearing the watch for a long time without properly maintaining the movement inside. Therefore, watch maintenance requiresReplica watchmovement is maintained?
How are replica watch movements maintained? Watch repairers point out that there are two types of watch movements: quartz movements and mechanical movements. Although both are watch movements, the maintenance required differs.

Quartz movement maintenance
The permissible tolerance range for a quartz movement is ±15 seconds per month. The timekeeping of a quartz watch is driven by battery power, and battery life generally ranges from 12 to 24 months depending on the movement used in the watch. If your watch has a low-power indicator function, when the battery is nearly depleted, the second hand will jump once every four seconds. If this occurs, you should replace the battery immediately. Delaying may cause damage to the mechanism; if you notice the time running slow, it may be due to insufficient power, and you can visit an authorised service centre to test the battery level.
Batteries need to be replaced approximately every two years for women's watches and every four years for men's watches. Swiss watches follow individual brand specification requirements for all battery changes, which include water pressure testing and replacement of seals to ensure water resistance. All repairs on Swiss watches come with a one-year warranty.
Mechanical movement maintenance
Mechanical movement maintenance: mechanical movements refer to those distinct from manual-winding mechanical watches. Automatic mechanical movement watches wind themselves automatically, utilising the power generated by the oscillating weight at the bottom of the movement swinging left and right to drive the mainspring and generate energy, though correspondingly the thickness of the watch itself is slightly greater than that of a standard manual-wind watch. Typical mechanical watches feature a helical spring. When people wind the watch, the helical spring is tightened at the same time.
As the helical spring unwinds, it begins to drive the watch core into motion. Automatic mechanical movements add an automatic component to the basis of a standard hand-wound watch: an oscillating weight and an automatic wheel. Winding of the mainspring is achieved through the oscillating weight rotating in any direction. The watch features an automatic winding design that can operate continuously. To ensure optimal performance and precise timekeeping, it is recommended that your mechanical watch receives a regular service every two years.
