Customer stories
I previously heard an industry heavyweight say that if a man only buys one watch in his lifetime, it has to be a Rolex. To be honest, I didn't used to have a very good impression of Rolex. When I first started working, the people I interacted with from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore mostly wore gold Rolexes, many of which were diamond-set. Then there were the newly rich wearing suits that looked like they were rented, sporting Rolexes. It seemed Rolex only made gold fluted bezels. However, after working for a long time, my perception of Rolex gradually changed, and I thought about getting one myself.
Later, through a friend's introduction, I learned about replica watches. Figuring they weren't too expensive anyway, I thought I'd buy one to try out. I didn't want anything like a massive solid gold Rolex, as I felt that was too flashy. Somehow, I ended up taking a liking to this black-dial Explorer; it's much more understated, so I went ahead and bought it. It's been almost three months since I got the watch, and it keeps pretty accurate time with a monthly variance of only around 10 seconds. This watch is genuinely understated—my colleagues still haven't noticed, haha. Here are a few photos for everyone to check out.
