Trump: How did someone who sells watches become the US President?
Starting yesterday, Weibo and WeChat Moments have been flooded with the topic of the "Presidential Election", even though it is the US presidential election.
US election vote counting results show that Republican candidate Donald Trump has reached 270 electoral votes and will become the 45th President of the United States. So who exactly is Donald Trump?

According to encyclopaedias, Donald Trump was once one of the most famous real estate developers in the United States, known as the "King of Real Estate". Relying on real estate and the stock market, Trump owns prime real estate in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and other places, and founded Trump Shuttle, as well as being the owner of the New Jersey Generals professional football team.
Now it is basically a done deal that Donald Trump will take office as the President of the United States, and he is best known for his real estate industry. However, Trump used to sell watches too, and they were the really rubbish kind.

In 2005, Trump released a batch of watches under his own brand name. Using a Japanese quartz movement is fine, but in terms of appearance, they copied almost everySwiss watchescopied everything.

To sell the watches, Donald Trump took to the stage himself and gave a passionate endorsement!
Rather awkwardly, the "Trump" brand watches quickly fizzled out, and hardly anyone would spend money to buy this rubbish. Nowadays, you can still find people selling old stock and secondhand items on eBay, priced at just a thousand or two RMB.

However, none of this matters; today Trump can smile and say to the public: Even though the watches I sold were rubbish, I can still become President just the same!
