Breitling Jet Team's US tour comes to a glorious close
The world's largest civilian professional jet aerobatic display team—the Breitling Jet Team—has just concluded a two-year tour of the United States and Canada, marking the successful close of its first US tour. During the "Breitling Jet Team US Tour", 7 pilots flew L-39C Albatros (L-39C Albatros) aircraft with gripping and exquisite performances, winning gasps and cheers from the live audience—reaching flight speeds of up to 700 kilometres per hour, with minimum fuselage separation distances of less than three metres. After participating in 30 airshows, 70 public performances, stopping in 35 states, and accumulating a flight distance of nearly 46,300 kilometres, this ambassador of the top Swiss independent watchmaking brand Breitling landed in California between 10 month 21 and 23, presenting a breathtaking grand finale performance at the inaugural Breitling Huntington Beach Airshow, bringing their "New World" tour to a successful conclusion.

Jacques Bothelin, leader of the Breitling Jet Team, said: "This US tour has undoubtedly been an incredible experience. We feel deeply honoured to share Breitling's passion for aviation with hundreds of thousands of fans and to experience various exciting and memorable moments together, such as flying over Manhattan."

During this thrilling long-distance journey, the Breitling Jet Team performed spectacular flight displays over virtually all of America's most legendary landmarks, such as flying over the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, the Golden Gate Bridge, Zion National Park, and Monument Valley. The team also invited some very special guests to fly with them on the wind, including former US Navy pilot and former NASA astronaut Mark Kelly; pilots from the US Navy Blue Angels and the Canadian Air Force Snowbirds were also invited to try it out as participants, enjoying the extraordinary pleasure of soaring through the skies with the Breitling Jet Team!

Jim DiMatteo, former US Navy pilot and director of the "Breitling Jet Team US Tour", said: "For official US institutions, inviting a French aerobatic team sponsored by a Swiss watch brand and flying Czech jets to tour the United States was an unprecedented thing. But after enjoying the Breitling Jet Team's performance in Europe, I made up my mind that they had to fly in American skies. We worked closely with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and held multiple negotiations regarding the Breitling Jet Team's North American tour, ultimately reaching a new framework agreement. During this time, we put in tremendous effort and broke through obstacles with firm determination, ultimately welcoming a successful outcome, for which I feel deeply joyful and proud."

Breitling formed the Breitling Jet Team 13 years ago to share the brand's boundless passion for aerobatics with the public globally. This team features highly skilled and talented pilots alongside high-speed elite aircraft, while also representingBreitling watchThe most cherished brand values — performance, precision, boldness, and innovation — stand unique in the world of aviation.
