Hublot partners with trendy ski equipment brand AK SKI to launch the BIG BANG Sugar Skull watch
Exquisite arabesque patterns seem imprinted beneath the tracks left by skiers; this is the new Big Bang Sugar Skull watch. Set against the backdrop of the Swiss mountains, the top Swiss watchmakerHublotbrings together the rubber skis of trendy Swiss ski equipment brand AK SKI and the famous St. Gallen embroidery from the prestigious Swiss embroidery house Bischoff to launch limited-edition watches that are must-haves for ski enthusiasts: the Big Bang Sugar Skull Blue Cobalt and the Big Bang Broderie Sugar Skull Hot Pink.
Hublot kicks off the resort ski season
With the arrival of winter, Hublot boutiques can be spotted across major peaks and resorts. Looking at the world's most famous ski resorts: from Zermatt to Gstaad in Switzerland, from Courchevel to Verbier in France, Aspen in the United States, and even Kitzbühel in Austria, Hublot boutiques open their doors for the winter season. Furthermore, three Hublot boutiques are located in high-altitude ski havens, including Gstaad, Zermatt and Courchevel. Their exteriors blend with local architectural features, designed in the traditional Swiss chalet style, symbolising the cultural heritage and history of the region.

An exquisite fusion of Swiss craftsmanship
AK SKI was the first manufacturer to use rubber in skis, completely revolutionising the world of winter sports. Rubber is also part of Hublot's pioneering spirit in watchmaking. Applying its superb watchmaking technology and combining it with the craftsmanship of Bischoff's top Swiss embroidery, Hublot—in line with its consistent philosophy, the Art of Fusion—proudly imprints its signature skull motif onto Ak Ski's professional rubber skis and the new Big Bang Sugar Skull watch. This presents a completely different style: black lines with floral arabesque patterns blooming from within, paired with a vibrant colour palette, achieving another artistic fusion and milestone in craftsmanship.

Big Bang Sugar Skull Blue Cobalt
Featuring Hublot's classic cobalt blue, the skull motif is boldly presented on the dial, with arabesque patterns extending from the ceramic bezel to the calfskin strap. The small seconds and minute hands of the chronograph gaze at you like the skull's eyes. A 44 mm case diameter is paired with a black ceramic case and an automatic mechanical chronograph movement. Limited to 50 pieces.

Big Bang Broderie Sugar Skull Hot Pink
The master artisans at the Bischoff embroidery workshop combine fine silk thread with St. Gallen embroidery to embroider the skull motif with hot pink arabesques, extending from the carbon fibre dial and ceramic bezel to the rubber strap. The fusion of embroidery and horology showcases the refinement of watchmaking craftsmanship. With a 41 mm case diameter, 12 black diamonds are set on the dial, as if drawing time into the colourful world of embroidery. Limited to 50 pieces worldwide.
